BOARD MEMBERS
Sharon Barfield
Sharon retired as a federal contractor, primarily in the higher education space. Although born and raised in NC, she spent 37 years in the midwest and northern Virginia. She and her husband Bill returned to NC, moving to Beaufort in 2021 after spending most holidays over the previous 30 years in the area visiting in-laws in New Bern and in their Beaufort 'vacation home'. They are proud parents to black lab, Tucker. While Bill still works part time, Sharon is happily fully retired and enjoys volunteering for the Beaufort Historical Association and the Maritime Museum in addition to the Beaufort Woman's Club.

Elizabeth Brown
Elizabeth moved to Beaufort in 2023 from West Palm Beach, Florida. She was an elementary teacher for several years before becoming the Director of Christian Education at Holy Trinity Episcopal Church for 25 years.
She has three daughters and one granddaughter and a cat named Lucy.
She enjoys volunteering as a Guardian Ad Item and Pony Patrol. She loves to travel, garden, and read.

First Vice -President
Phyllis and her husband, Stuart, divide their time between Raleigh and Pine Knoll Shores, although she considers the coast her happy place. After retiring from a career in insurance sales and marketing, she now enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, playing mahjong, working to improve her golf game, attending DPAC performances, and cheering for her favorite sports teams.
Phyllis Brown

Second Vice -President
Keila grew up in Greenville NC and her family vacationed in Atlantic Beach all of her life. She went to ECU, majored in accounting, and became a CPA in 1985. She and Paul lived in Raleigh for 40 years before moving to Beaufort. She has volunteered for many non-profit organizations - PTAs, booster clubs, First Tee, Beaufort Game Faire - and is still on the board of Feed the Firefighters, Beaufort Ladies Golf Association, and NCSU Lambda Chi Alpha Housing Corp. She has an active CPA practice and is excited to be part of Beaufort Woman's Club. Keila and Paul have a son, Daniel (wife, Lauren and grandson, Hays) and daughter, Ellen Ruth.
Keila Keadle

Treasurer
Naomi moved to Beaufort in 2018 from Hampton, Virginia. She was an elementary teacher for 30 years and then worked with first year teachers and the ESL Program. (English as a Second Language).
Naomi has one Daughter, Meredith and two grandsons, Jacob and Caleb. She enjoys spending time with neighbors and friends and volunteering at the Beaufort Historic Association in addition to the Woman's Club.
