May 2022 Meeting

May’s Meeting will be held at the Boy’s and Girl’s Club Teen Center. We will be having a Website Scavenger Hunt to help members learn how to navigate our new wix.com site and our Website. Beverly Boyles reported that the communication team is working on this and will be there to help members. Members should bring their own computers, phones or lab tops. The teen center has internet accessibility. Also at the May meeting, Cece Johnson, who is the Youth of the Year, will be speaking to the club. She is competing in a State competition and if she wins may be at the Regional Competition during this time and will not be speaking. We will update all members as we get closer to the date. President Willis suggested we put together a “Gift Card Basket” at our May meeting for Cece Johnson who will be going to College next year. Members could bring a gift card for whatever amount they want to add to the basket to help her with other expenses while she is away at College. President Willis also wanted members to know that Cece had applied to the club for a Sally Southall Cotton scholarship.
