History of the Beaufort Woman's Club
The Beaufort Woman’s Club wishes to thank Mike Edwards, retired broadcaster from Raleigh, and Jeff Katowitz, of Witz Design in Oak Ridge, for so kindly donating their services in the production of this video.
For over 100 years the Beaufort Woman’s Club has played a key role in shaping the community fabric of Beaufort. The present-day club traces its roots to January 21, 1921, just a few months after American women were granted the right to vote. Our club has served decade after decade as a strong force in making Beaufort one of the best small towns in America.
