Art Competition Awards Presentation
Plan to join us for the Awards Presentation as we celebrate the talented young artists in our community. Light refreshments will be provided by the students from the participating schools. For volunteer opportunities, see info below.

About the event
Please plan to join us as we support our very talented young artists at the awards presentation. If you are interested in volunteering to help set up or tear down the exhibits, or if you'd like to serve a shift as a welcome greeter during the 3-day event (Mar 5-7), please contact Myra Thomas directly at 252.450.5353.
Reminder that the culinary students from the participating schools will provide the refreshments for the evening. These will include:
- West Cateret High School - "Not your mother's peanut butter and jelly" Peanut butter mousse and strawberry coulis in a pate Choux puff Pastry.
- East Carteret High School - Petite sweet potato biscuits with pulled pork and slaw. Mouthwatering Petite Sweet Potato Biscuits with Pulled Pork and Slaw, the richness of slow-cooked pulled pork, the sweetness of petite sweet potato biscuits, and the crisp freshness of slaw.
- Croatan High School- Dilly Cucumber bites. Cucumber slices are topped with a fresh dill cream cheese and yogurt mixture and finished with a juicy cherry tomato.
