February 27, 2022 We missed gathering to play Bunko during Covid months so this event was even more special! Playing Bunko has been one of our annual Beaufort Woman’s Club fundraisers. We play for charity; this year we chose BackPack Blessings, a local charity that provides food to families in need.
What a fun way to spend an afternoon! Moonraker’s provided their second floor room with a great water view. We had a buffet of cheeses, crackers, and flat bread. Balloons decorated each table with a table number. This dice game requires no special skill or talent. Our guests simply roll the dice and count points. If you can add to 21 and can throw 3 dice you can play! Fourty women gathered with lots of chatter and laughter. As a player threw a "Bunko" or "Baby Bunko" volunteers awarded them bead necklaces so there was nonstop action during play. Winners received donated prizes from local restaurants and businesses. All in all we had a great time.
