Welcome to Fall! As the temperatures drop and we have fewer beach days, our club activities are beginning to increase. On October 12th, 2023, our Business Meeting will be informative and fun! Thank you to the Art Committee for providing food. Halloween is typically a holiday for children, but we will have fun dressing up in our costumes and Halloween attire. Your treat will be discovered during our mixer game. Our speaker, Juliette Rogers will share information about the Carteret Partnership for Children programs. What better time than Halloween to bring treats (Teddy Grahams, Fruit Snacks and Goldfish) for the children in this program. Please be generous!
October continues with our Bunko event at the Maritime Museum. Bunko is easy to play if you can count to 21! We will offer directions to newcomers and re-fresher for all. Karen Hardesty and her team of volunteers pledge to show you a GOOD TIME. There will be food, wine, and prizes too! Please share our posts and get the word out to your friends and neighbors. Tickets are on sale now!
The Executive Board and Committee Chairs met on September 18th to plan activities for the upcoming year. Lots of great ideas surfaced and many strong opinions were heard. Together this team will continue to bring about change. The deadline for membership renewals is October 15th, 2023. This will be your last chance to pay your dues and be included in this year’s Directory. We will be purging names after the 15th. The directories will be available at our November meeting. You can go online at our website www.beaufortwomansclub.org/membersonly and print out your own copy. If you wish to have a printed copy, please see our Membership Committee, and give them $5.00 to cover printing costs.
